Tadalafil

Description

For ED
Tadalafil is used to treat male sexual function problems such as impotence or erectile dysfunction. The medication works alongside sexual stimulation and increases blood flow to the penis so a man can both achieve, and maintain a lasting erection.

For BPH
Besides ED treatment, Tadalafil can be used in the treatment of enlarged prostate symptoms. By relieving symptoms of BPH, such as difficulty initiating urine flow, weak stream, and the need to urinate frequently or urgently, Tadalafil has become a go-to option for men everywhere.

Tadalafil Uses
Dr. Shaw or your physician will always give you clear instructions on how to take Tadalafil. Your pharmacist is also a great resource if you ever have any questions. Sometimes, they may even have pamphlets available.

Tadalafil is taken by mouth, with or without food, as directed by your doctor. However, do not take tadalafil more than once daily.

Depending on your medical condition, response to treatment, and other medications you might be taking, your dosage may vary. Always inform your doctor or pharmacist about all the products you use including prescription drugs, nonprescription drugs, and herbal products.

When using Tadalafil to treat symptoms of BPH, you must take as directed by your doctor, which also tends to be once a day. If you are also taking Finasteride for BPH, make sure you talk with your doctor about how long you should continue both medications.

In erectile dysfunction treatment, Tadalafil may be prescribed in two different ways. As always, your doctor will determine which is the best way for you to consume the medication. The first way is to take it as needed, usually 30 minutes before sexual activity.

The second way to treat erectile dysfunction is to take tadalafil once a day every day. This way, you can engage in sexual activity at any time between doses. Keep in mind that Tadalafil can affect your sexual ability for up to 36 hours.

If your condition does not improve, or if it worsens, tell your doctor right away.
