Q. How is TheraCran One different than other cranberry supplements?

TheraCran One is the only cranberry supplement that has been independently tested and certified in the US for its purity and proanthocyanidin content. Most products are not standardized or tested for proanthocyanidins, and do not list proanthocyanidin content on their label.

TheraCran One contains 36 mg of proanthocyanidins per daily dose of one cranberry capsule. This is the dose of proanthocyanidins that has been shown in research studies to be beneficial for urinary tract health.*

TheraCran One contains a whole cranberry extract from cranberry juice, skins, flesh, and seeds, and each batch is tested for bioactivity. You can be sure that TheraCran One delivers the recommended amount of bioactive proanthocyanidins.

Q. What are proanthocyanidins?

Proanthocyanidins (PACs) are compounds naturally occurring in cranberries. Researchers have shown that the particular type of proanthocyanidins found in cranberries is beneficial for urinary tract health.*

Q. Are there any side effects from taking TheraCran One?

No. There are no expected side effects from TheraCran One. Any person with a known allergy to cranberries should not take TheraCran One.

Q. How is TheraCran One different from drinking cranberry juice?

TheraCran One is virtually calorie- and sugar-free. In comparison, 10 ounces of cranberry juice cocktail has approximately 175 calories and 37 grams of sugar, more than a can of Coke®. People with diabetes can safely take TheraCran One since it is sugar-free and will not affect their blood sugar levels as juice will.

TheraCran One is less expensive than juice. One cranberry capsule per day of TheraCran One costs about 20% less than the equivalent amount of cranberry juice.

TheraCran One does not become less potent over time. Dried cranberry extract is stable, but cranberry juice can become less potent the longer it sits on a shelf.

Q. Can I take TheraCran One cranberry supplement if I am pregnant?

Yes, TheraCran One can be taken during pregnancy. Studies have shown that cranberry supports urinary tract health in pregnant women.*

Q. Can children take TheraCran One?

Yes. The recommended dose is half (1/2) a capsule per day for children under 70 pounds, and one capsule per day for children 70 pounds and over. You can open the capsule and mix the contents with other food such as applesauce, pudding, or yogurt. Another option for children is TheraCran HP for Kids, a chewable tablet made from the same cranberry extract as TheraCran One.

Q. Can I buy TheraCran One internationally?

Yes. TheraCran One can be purchased directly in Canada from Theralogix Canada at www.theralogix.ca

Q. Can TheraCran One be taken along with other nutritional supplements?

Yes. TheraCran One can be taken along with other nutritional supplements. There are no known nutritional supplement interactions with TheraCran One.

Q. Does TheraCran One interact with prescription medications?

No, TheraCran One is not likely to interact with any prescription medications.

At one time it was thought cranberry would increase how long warfarin (Coumadin®), a blood thinner, is in the body, and increase the chances of bruising and bleeding. But recent studies have shown that there is no significant interaction.

If you take warfarin (Coumadin), however, it is important to continue to closely monitor your INR levels once you start taking TheraCran One.

As with any dietary supplement, it is recommended you discuss with your pharmacist and or healthcare team to clarify whether TheraCran One can be taken along with your medications.
