My name is Alex Hughes, and I’m the lead nurse practitioner at Austin Urology Institute. Recently, I had the privilege of attending the AUA Fundamentals in Urology 2024 that was held at the Cleveland Clinic, attracting a diverse audience. The course provided a mix of hands-on training and virtual didactic sessions, covering advanced procedures like ultrasound-guided interventions, catheter management, and endoscopy. These new skills are invaluable in delivering the highest level of care to our patients.
