The Little Pink Pill: The Newest Addition to Women’s Sexual Health

We’ve all heard of a certain small pill that can help men in a BIG way. Now, it’s the women’s turn –with Addyí.

Addyí is the first FDA approved treatment for premenopausal women with low sexual desire also called Hypoactive Sexual Desire Disorder (HSDD).

Women who have HSDD have low sexual desire. Their low libido is not caused by a medical or mental health problem, problems in the relationship, medicines or drug use. Addyí for women who have not experienced low sexual desire in the past, and whose have low desire is consistent no matter the type of sexual activity, the situation, or the sexual partner.

In double blind clinical trials, women noticed three main changes:
